For the past twenty-five years, Garnie
Quick has been learning the intricacies of the fascinating medium of
watercolor. Her approach to painting is simple and
direct. After determining the composition with a value sketch, she
starts with a light sketch to the paper and then paints freely from
having already determined the basic plan. The painting then takes on
a life of its own.
